Description
A 36 tooth trigger wheel provides the ECU with a more accurate crank angle measurement compared with a stock 4 tooth trigger wheel. This can help the ecu to cope better with rapid rpm changes eg when tyres are on the limit of grip or accelerating over uneven road surfaces. The 36-2 also makes startup sync easier for the ECU by creating a large reference gap.
This trigger wheel fits standard or fluidampr dampers abd is compatible with most aftermarket ECUs. Certain ECUs may require minor modification, so please contact us if you are unsure.
If swapping a MK2 engine into a MK1 chassis, this trigger wheel allows you to do this without any resistor changes on the ecu.
