Description
GTS is currently in beta testing. If you’re interested in trying it, please contact us with details of the ECU you’re using and
GTS is a unique graphical tuning software that will make your tuning process simpler, faster and more accurate.
GTS allows the user to open logs and map files, display the data and map tables together with clear and precise scatter plots and edit the map interactively based on the log data.
Traditionally, tuners look at instantaneous readings for air fuel ratio and nudge the fuel table in the right direction until they reach the target air fuel ratio. Not only is this time consuming, but it can also lead to inaccuracies from not being perfectly aligned with the cell being adjusted, random variation with low sample count and varying environmental conditions.
GTS takes a different approach. We use proprietary data dimensionality reduction techniques to map every datapoint in a log to a row and column in the VE (fuel) table and apply accurate compensation for the difference between the RPM/load in the data and the row/column value. Doing this, we can generate accurate plots of an engine’s volumetric efficiency for every row and column in the table and easily adjust the table values to match each engine’s unique characteristics. Adjustments can be made by dragging table value points on the graph, entering values numerically or using the nudge hotkeys on the keyboard.

Plotting how volumetric efficiency changes with RPM allows VE table columns to be properly aligned with the engine’s natural resonant peaks and troughs. Tuning to this level is almost impossible to achieve using real time data!

By analyzing multiple logs simultaneously, users can also process the effects of intake air temperature and coolant temperature. The interactive plots produced can be used to fine tune temperature compensation, ensuring your car is always running at its best, whatever the weather!
Fuel tuning is the primary function of GTS, but that’s not all it can do. The knock tab creates an easy to understand plot showing raw knock sensor signals vs RPM and highlighting points which the ECU picked up as knock. The “Background noise” / “Acceptable Level” settings from the ECU are overlaid onto this plot and can be adjusted to ensure optimal knock detection without false triggers.

GTS applies its own intelligent datapoint filtering and quality rating, and any datapoint can by further analyzed with Ctrl+Click taking the user to a log viewer page showing what was happening around that time.
