After purchasing a remote tune, please follow the instructions on the tuning process page. Please ensure you understand these instructions before purchasing.
A full tune is intended for long term use and can be a complete replacement for dyno tuning. The full tune covers everything in the basic tune but continues the tuning process using driving data to improve power, throttle response, fuel economy and smoothness. A full tune should get close to the power level of a typical dyno tune.
Troubleshooting of any physical (mechanical or electrical) issues is not included in the fixed price tuning package and will be charged at standard £60/hr hourly rate.

Fantastic service, Alex was very sure to check he was happy with how the car was running before starting the tuning process. After solving an issue with how the ECU was controlling the alternator, he then started tuning. A very easy process of recording logs on my laptop, Alex reviewing them and sending back new files to load onto the ECU. He was very prompt each time and explained what he was doing and what he needed me to do for the next drive log. Really happy with the result, my MX5 drives like it’s got a factory tune, but with a supercharger fitted.

Really couldn’t recommend Digitune highly enough. Alex was fantastically knowledgable, helpful, and quick to respond throughout.
I’ve had a dyno tune in the past, but I much preferred the experience with the remote tune. I felt more involved and if you have any issues that need resolving (like I had) you don’t end up paying for a 2nd dyno day. Alex managed to spot there was an issue, diagnose it, and we just resumed mapping a few days later when I’d fixed it.
The quality of the map is superb as well. Absolutely fantastic service.

Alex was a breeze to deal with from start to finish, this is my first MX5 and being a garage owner im pretty hands on. Alex guided me through all the troubles i had and got my GT25 turbo converted 1.6 NA MK1 running wonderfully. Initially after building and setting up the car i got the car running with ME’s base map but it ran like crap. Alex informed me of whats needed to get the car running right, then proceeded to data logging and having idle/power delivery smoothed out. The car now rips through gears and idles like a modern car, you forget this is nearly a 24 years old car! The process from start to finish does take time to work out the kinks but Alex is very reliable to coming back to you with the correct answers. The level of knowledge and attention to detail is worth any price in my opinion. Id recommend this guy to absolutely anyone for ME ECU’s and MX5 tuning, and a great guy to deal with.

I had been running my MX-5 NB with a supercharger, an intercooler and ME442 ECU for a few years and which I had ‘self tuned’ using the ‘Long Term trim” and some advancement of the ignition timing, the car had poor throttle response, flat spots and wouldn’t idle properly.
So I loaded the base map and starting the Digitune process, 4 days later my car is totally transformed. The car now runs like it has a factory setup, the throttle response and drivability is excellent, cold and hot starting is effortless and the idle is spot on.
I can’t recommend this service enough.

I own a Mazda MX-5 NB 1.6 Turbo , I got the car stock and it was fully built from the ground up with only expensive brand new parts.
I have got the car tunned by a ” irish reputable tuner ” in ireland on the dyno , within 6 months I needed another engine , so swapped that and then it took 2 maps in order to get the car to the point where is drivable .
The whole experience was a nightmare and a horrible experience with a cosntant ”will do attitude from the tuner” . Please keep in mind not cheap at all.
I had the car up for sale as i was sick of it not being able to enjoy and having constant running issues , the car wouldn’t iddle and it was a pain to drive on day to day basis aswell as the AFR s being all over the place and overboosting every time i went on boost.
Someone recomended Alex aka DigiTune for a full remap and I cannot stress ennough , he made the car feel OEM + , it drives flawlessly now , runs perfect , AFR s are on point . He made the difference between keeping the car and selling it .
I cannot stress ennough the fact that it was worth every bit of the cost of the tune .
I would strongly recommend him , he is great with feedback and he knows his ways around this cars perfectly .
