The Sentinel is a multifunctional shift and warning light with CAN bus connectivity. The warning light array allows the driver to quickly and easily monitor engine health without taking eyes off the road to read gauges. Any of the 10 LEDs can be configured through USB using our desktop application to provide a clear visual warning when any of the following parameters are outside of the user modifiable limits*:
- Coolant Temperature
- Oil Temperature
- Oil Pressure
- Boost Pressure
- Air Fuel Ratio Error
- Intake Temperature
- Fuel Pressure
- Battery Voltage
- Injector Duty
- Knock Detection
- Exhaust gas temperature
The shift light function is fully configurable with a choice of colour for every LED, adjustable brightness and linear or symetric lighting pattern.
Currently compatible with the CAN protocol for the following ECUs:
- Motorsport Electronics ME221 gen2
- Motorsport Electronics ME360
- Motorsport Electronics ME442
We are working hard to add compatibility for Megasquirt ECUs as well!
Available with a flat base for universal fitment or a curved base to match the curvature of the MX-5 instrument cluster cover/binnacle.
Wiring:
- Red – Battery +
- Black – Ground
- Yellow – CAN Low
- Green – CAN High
